Smalltown Boy and APT AI Duos: Pick the Scene, Prepare the Pair

Choose between a reaction-and-dance duo and a pop-performance scene, prepare two portraits, and review identity and motion in a short AI video.

A convincing duo starts with two clear roles and one simple interaction. Dola AI offers two related starting points: Smalltown Boy AI for a reaction that turns into a shared dance, and APT-Inspired AI Duo for a playful studio performance.

Both accept two separate adult portraits and request a ten-second landscape video. They generate a new performance from a written brief; they do not transfer an existing music video's choreography frame by frame.

Choose the action before choosing the photos

For Smalltown Boy, the interaction is a glance, a reaction, and a relaxed shared movement. It works as a short exchange between two characters.

For the APT-inspired scene, the interaction is a more coordinated performance with hand and shoulder gestures in a bright studio. It is a short pop-performance concept, not a complete song-length music video.

If your idea is an energetic pursuit, choose Crazy Frog AI. Its first character leads and its second follows through a playful chase. Treating all three as the same dance would produce a less useful brief.

Prepare the two portrait slots

Use one adult in each photo. Try to match face scale and source quality. A sharp portrait paired with a tiny blurred thumbnail gives you an uneven starting point.

Add each photograph to its named slot. The order matters: it establishes the left and right characters, or lead and follower for the chase. Check the thumbnails before submitting and review the actual credit quote shown in the workspace.

Keep a ten-second scene manageable

Give the clip a beginning, one interaction, and a finish. Three unrelated locations, several outfit changes, and a fast camera orbit are difficult to evaluate in a short performance.

These original prompt directions can be adapted in the page's prompt field or in AI Video:

The left character notices the right character starting a small shoulder dance. A surprised glance becomes a shared smile, then both move together for a moment. Keep their identities separate and both faces visible in one medium-wide shot.
Two portrait-led performers stand in a pink-and-cream studio. They exchange an amused look, make two small coordinated hand gestures, and finish facing the camera. Use an original pop-performance atmosphere without an existing song, copied lyrics, or logos.

Use these as creative starting points. They have not been presented as benchmarked outputs or guaranteed motion recipes.

Review both people at the same time

Check the beginning, the most active moment, and the final frame. Look for identity swaps, hands crossing into the other body, faces turning unrecognizable, and one performer leaving the frame.

Listen separately to any generated sound. Neither preset includes the original Smalltown Boy or APT recording. Exact musical timing, speech, and lip synchronization are not promised. Add music you have permission to use during your own editing step if a particular soundtrack is essential.
